For many police officers, their K-9 partner is their best friend and a member of their family. So when a K9 retires, it’s a bittersweet moment. On one hand, the officers are happy to have their partner home safe and sound. But on the other hand, they’re sad to see their partner retire from the force.
Thanks to the generosity of people like you, many retired K-9's are able to find loving homes where they will be taken care of for the rest of their days. If you would like to help these deserving animals, please consider making a donation to a reputable organization that helps retired K9s. Every little bit counts, and with your help, these dogs can live out their twilight years in peace and comfort.

TBRK9 Foundation is a 501(c)(3) to raise awareness and medical funds for police K-9's in retirement and ease some of the financial burden of officers and their families. In addition to medical funds of retired K9's, memorial services and funeral costs of K9's killed in the line of duty. Together, we can make an impact one paw at a time.

Retired K9 Beau spent his life protecting others. Now, this loyal Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office hero is facing the fight of his own life after suffering a devastating injury that may require major surgery or even amputation.
While enjoying retirement with his retired K9 brother Ronin, Beau suddenly suffered severe elbow damage and nerve injury, leaving him unable to use his leg. His handler, former K9 Deputy Justin Fineberg, is doing everything possible to help his partner recover — but they can’t do it alone.
Through Tampa Bay Retired K9 Foundation, $3,000 of Beau’s estimated $9,000 treatment plan has already been raised. Now the community is rallying together to help this hero heal.
